Design Milk profiled the launch of the Nywele Vase, September Collective's first in-house designed piece, created with Kitengela Glass artisans in Nairobi, Kenya. Writer Sophie Sobol traces how founder Leslie Rivers translated the Bantu knot, a hairstyle rooted in Zulu heritage worn today across the African diaspora, into a mouth-blown glass silhouette available in five colourways.
