The Rhen Art story began with a Mother and Daughters shared love for art and beauty, and the joy of creating something meaningful with their own hands. Rhen and Sheena, Rhen.Ovations, is a story and name that carries deep significance for them. It’s a combination of a mother’s name, Rhen, and the word “renovations,” symbolizing their mission to take an idea, an object and transform it.

Rhen’s work is a visual meditation on womanhood, identity, and becoming. Rooted in heritage while gently moving toward what’s possible. Across her pieces, she explores how we are shaped by both connection and change.
Interwoven Grace reflects the intimacy of community and lineage, using the ritual of hair being braided to symbolize the mothers, aunties, sisters, and elders whose care and wisdom shape our sense of self.
In Horizons Dream III, that grounding expands outward, capturing a quiet yet powerful moment of standing at the edge of the unknown, where courage and imagination meet.
Divine Breeze brings these themes into motion, celebrating the grace, resilience, and inner power of women who know when to hold firm and when to surrender. The flowing orange dress, lifted by an unseen breeze, becomes a metaphor for trust, transformation, and life’s natural rhythms.
Together, Rhen’s textured strokes and vibrant palettes balance softness with strength, tradition with forward movement. Reminding us that we are both deeply rooted and continually evolving, carried by what came before us and guided by what lies ahead.
