Pakurigo Wave Basket - Black and Natural Essence
The Baba Tree Pakurigo Wave Basket - Black and Natural Essence brings movement, texture, and heritage into your space. For collectors of form — this basket turns storage into sculpture.
Where it lives beautifully:
Placed on the floor, it becomes part of the architecture of the room—quiet, but unmistakable.
- In the bedroom, providing additional storage for pillows, throws
- In a living room corner, where it softens empty space with form and story
- Beside a couch or chair (adding texture to the space)
Elegant, functional, and unforgettable.
This basket isn’t just for storage, it’s a sculptural centerpiece that brings texture, movement, and heritage to any room. Woven from durable elephant grass and dyed with natural colours, each piece is one-of-a-kind, reflecting the hands and history that shaped it.

This basket is speaking to me in so many ways. I love the “movement” and “energy” it brings to this space. It currently sits beside my reading chair that has been in my family for years with the beautiful Krado blanket. It’s calming energy encourages peace, while at the same time brings so much Afrocentric style and grace.
Hi Sherry,
This is exactly what we hoped to hear. The basket has found such a meaningful corner of your home, alongside pieces that carry their own history, and that means the world to us. Thank you for welcoming it so warmly and for taking the time to share this with us.
